The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is likely to announce Madhyamik (Class 10) result in the first week of June.
The Class 10 results are expected to be out on Friday, June 1, 2018 on the official website of the board, which are – wbbse.org and wbresults.nic.in
Meanwhile, the class 12 results would likely be released by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) on or before June 10, 2018.
This year nearly 11 lakh students appeared for class 10 examinations, which were held from March 12 to 21, 2018.
Last year, 10.71 lakh students had appeared for the Madhyamik exams and results for the same were declared on May 27.
The overall pass percentage was 82.98%. The pass percentage of boys was 986.34% , which was higher than the girls total of 79.62%.
Number of the girls, taking up the Class 10 exams, is growing year-on-year against boys. This year, 56 per cent girls (6,21,000) participated in the exams while 44 per cent (4,81,555) boys wrote their Class 10 exams.
The WBBSE Class 10 exam results will also be made available through SMS service too.
